Our projection is taking the right shape for all the specific elements. We filmed all over,from the big aquarium in the shopping centers to forest, just to take the material for our concept. Mainly the row nature is blending in the music´s rithem with the dancer`s movements.
After a lot of prototypes, the last projection is getting the right mask so the dark background will give the deepness the play will show. We are close to the last corrections and the date of the show is coming closer and closer.

Welcome to the real begining!
Hello everybody! Quick start of our project started here! This is will be fun, and you know why? Because is new process, we will go through it ALL together and it would be nice to see the result of OUR work. If you didn’t see the pyramid with the projection in jet you have to look at the pictures, we will upload soon or spread tomorrow among us. But is is really looking amazing, you will see the great potential in it… And remember this is a learning process as well, we will learn in every detail of out play…
The sure thing is that the rhythm of the music in the thing that get our play to became a harmony.
Let’s just enjoy the coming of the spring get out with our cameras and get the nature in our play

Where the wind is :)
Well with a lot of instructions from the boys in the technical part(black background, light on the leaves…), I couldn`t get the wind of course still need some tries hehehehe
Getting together the first prototype
Tomorrow morning we will have to get together all that we considered that is relevant and choose to present our concept…it will be just a kind of prototype but the gates are still open for new ideas and inspirations
We are running more projects at the same time and I am glad we still manage to get the things… working in ours See you tomorrow and remember the show is gonna run like that:
from 26 of March until 5 of April is our intense creation time
April 6, 7, 8 and 9th are the rehearsals
April 12 – Dress rehearsal
April 13 – Premiere
14, 15 and 16th – The shows will run at different hours…

We are makeing big steps!
Both of the meetings went good and a lot of things are decided so far. We will create special moods for each of the four elements by projecting our creations on the shape modifying mechanism. The concept of our creations is the one we decided already. Our show will flow in the following order:
The shape will start from the floor and will raise up in the square form, but with a hole in the middle (little piramid form) and here will be presented the Earth element
– in the next phase the shape will transform in the big triangle representing the Wind element,
– then it will raise up again in the plane square shape, representig the Water element,
– at the end the shape will be a sharp triangle representing the Fire elemens.
This will be the main shapes we will have to design for, of course during the performance will be a lot of other shapes. This will interact with the 4 dancers.
All the four projectors are here now for us so we can start tring them on Monday already.
Our plan as a group was to devide the visualisation theam in two and start to search for some inspiration for next wednesday when we will have to upload a render file of our work.
Lea, Raimonda and Lukasz will concentrate on the Fire and Water element.
Amanda, Alexandra and Marianne will concentrate on the Earth, and Wind element.
We will have to gather the material by Monday so the technical boys can start to set them together…

First big decisions :) we start to ride guys
Well done my friends!!! I am very happy about the meeting today we are moving on, and the ideas are just over the corner we have just to express them We were all there today, but still I will write the main things that has been discussed so have the results from all the meetings:
-we signed the contract which has to be respected through all the process
-besides the communication part we decided that we will create a video which will be projected on the mechanism that changes it`s shape
– we will use the softwere which is reading the 3D forms and project on them (gotta arangea meeting with Jonas about that)
-in our video we will try to reflect “How people use the four elements”, we will go out and film, combine, create
-but on Thursday at 13:00 we will meet down with the theather technicians, and then come up in our class, and do the storyboars for each 3 minutes of perfomance

The very beginning
At the begining was just the idea of developing three theater plays in a totally new process of creation.. The ideas came from the technical department which was developing more ideas in order to create the Ballet Mechanique spectacle, as you can see in the photos. Afterwards three of the prototypes were selected for further developement of the concept. Our group is working with the creation of the play in the middle room, where different shapes of our mechanism will interact with our multimedia production and the performance of the ballet dancers…
